Ticketed entry to Going-to-the-Sun Road: Glacier National Park has just announced a new ticketed entry system for the entire GTSR corridor this summer. We will carpool as much as possible to minimize parking issues. All vehicles can access the Apgar and Lake McDonald areas on the western side of the park. For this reason, we have structured the Hangout schedule to minimize driving into the central and eastern sections of GTSR, and we will use the park’s shuttle system when necessary.
